Major Upgrades for Students and Campus Infrastructure

The Chief Minister inaugurated the renovated boys’ and girls’ hostels, a new futsal ground, and a biometric entry system for student access—enhancing both security and transparency on campus. He also laid the foundation stone for a new modern library at the college.

Inspection of Sports and Academic Facilities

During his visit, Mr. Bugti inspected the under-construction cricket ground, along with the science laboratories, auditorium, college park, control room, and cafeteria, emphasizing the government’s commitment to improving student life and academic standards.

Rapid Development Due to Personal Interest of CM and Health Minister

Under the personal supervision of Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar and the Chief Minister, renovation and restoration work on the boys’ and girls’ hostels was completed within just three months. Strict restrictions were also imposed to prohibit unauthorized individuals from entering or residing in the hostels.

Hostel Allotment on Merit Basis

The Health Minister announced that hostel accommodation would now be allotted purely on merit, ensuring that genuine and deserving students receive priority access to these vital facilities.

CM’s Address to Faculty and Students

In his address, CM Sarfraz Bugti said:

“This institution has produced some of the best doctors in the country. Since assuming office, our top priority has been to enhance health and medical services across Balochistan.”

He further added:

“When we abandon transparency and make decisions based on favoritism, performance suffers. Our government is committed to ensuring efficiency and progress in every sector.”

He assured the college principal of continued financial support, and pledged that all issues facing students and faculty members would be addressed on a priority basis.

Attendees at the Ceremony

The ceremony was attended by several key figures, including Provincial Ministers Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Mir Shoaib Ahmad Nosherwani, and Mir Asim Kurd Gello, as well as Parliamentary Secretaries, MPAs, and Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch (President of the National Party and MPA). Also present were Health Secretary Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Panizai and C&W Secretary Lal Jan Jaffar.
