Manan Mandokhail: 

A powerful bomb blast rocked the Killi Mangal area within the jurisdiction of Hanna Police Station in Quetta, killing two people and injuring seven others, police officials confirmed on Friday.

According to initial police reports, the explosion caused widespread panic as it was heard from a considerable distance. Rescue teams and law enforcement agencies immediately rushed to the site, while the entire area was cordoned off and a case has been registered to initiate a thorough investigation. Security was tightened across the vicinity to prevent any further untoward incidents.

The injured were quickly transported to the Trauma Centre of Civil Hospital Quetta, where an emergency was declared. According to the spokesperson of Sandeman Provincial Hospital, two bodies and seven injured individuals were brought in. Fortunately, the condition of the wounded is reported to be out of danger, and immediate medical aid was provided.

Police sources stated that the motive and perpetrators behind the attack could not be immediately confirmed. Meanwhile, security forces launched a search operation in the surrounding area to track down those responsible for the attack.
