According to official reports, Inayatullah Mohammad Hassani, a resident of Gharibabad, Nushki, succumbed to severe third-degree burn injuries sustained during the incident that occurred nearly a month ago. Over 50 individuals were severely injured when the fuel tanker caught fire, causing a massive explosion and widespread devastation.

This tragic event remains one of the most fatal oil tanker fire accidents in Pakistan, raising serious concerns about fuel transportation safety, fire safety compliance, and emergency medical response in remote regions.

Experts emphasize the urgent need for personal injury compensation laws, proper burn treatment facilities, and stricter hazardous material transport regulations. Victims and their families may be eligible for injury claims and wrongful death compensation depending on the outcome of the investigation.

Authorities continue to probe the cause of the explosion, while civil society and humanitarian organizations have called for better disaster response policies to prevent similar accidents in the future.
