SIBI, June 12, 2025 — In a disturbing incident, unknown assailants targeted the residence of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Muhammad Ashraf Jamali with a hand grenade on Thursday. The residence is located within the premises of the City Police Station in Sibi.
According to police sources, the grenade exploded with a loud blast, creating panic in the area. Fortunately, no casualties or serious injuries were reported, and the DSP escaped unharmed.
Law enforcement agencies swiftly cordoned off the area and began a search operation. Investigations are currently underway, and authorities are trying to trace the perpetrators behind the attack.
Security has been tightened across Sibi following the incident, and officials have vowed to bring those responsible to justice.
