Digari Murder Case: Top Officials Appear Before Balochistan CJ

Quetta – In a major development in the Digari double murder case, the Additional Chief Secretary for Home and Additional Inspector General of Police, Syed Wazir, appeared before Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court, Justice Rozi Khan Bareech, in his chamber on July 22, 2025. The Chief Justice had taken suo motu notice of the brutal incident and summoned the concerned officials for an urgent briefing.

During today’s proceedings, the SP of the Serious Crimes Investigation Wing and the investigating officer of the case also appeared before the Chief Justice. They presented a comprehensive report outlining the progress made in the investigation, the arrests of suspects, and the exhumation process, which was conducted to strengthen forensic evidence.
