Section 144 imposed across Balochistan for 15 days

Quetta: The Balochistan government has imposed Section 144 across the province for 15 days in view of security concerns.

According to the notification, the restrictions will remain in effect from August 16 to August 31. Under Section 144, pillion riding on motorcycles and covering the face with masks or cloth while riding a motorcycle has been completely banned.

In addition, all types of gatherings and the assembly of more than five people at one place have also been prohibited.

The provincial administration stated that these measures have been enforced to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incidents.
