Kharan witnessed yet another tragic case of honour killing on Monday night in the Gardina area, where a young man and woman were brutally murdered.

According to local sources, the victims have been identified as Ghulam Nazar and Shaki. Their bodies were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Kharan after necessary legal formalities.

Police officials confirmed that an investigation into the incident is underway, assuring that those found responsible will face strict legal action.

Honour killings remain a grave social issue across Pakistan, with rights activists repeatedly calling for stronger legislation, community awareness, and effective implementation of existing laws to curb such violence.
