KHARAN: At least three people were shot dead while four others were abducted by unidentified gunmen in the Lajay area of Kharan district, Balochistan, on Thursday.

According to local sources, armed assailants opened fire, killing three men on the spot. The victims were identified as Jangi Khan, Sanaullah, and Syed Khan. Their bodies were shifted to Kharan District Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

The attackers also took four more individuals with them, who are said to be local residents of the area. Law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation into the incident and initiated efforts to trace those abducted.

The tragic incident has spread fear among residents, while security has been tightened in the region to prevent further violence.
