Kohlu : A heartbreaking incident occurred in Kohlu’s suburban area Killi Faiz Muhammad, where four children tragically drowned after falling into a deep rainwater pit.

According to police, three of the victims were siblings, while the ages of the deceased ranged between 5 and 10 years. The tragic event has left the entire area grief-stricken.

The bodies were immediately shifted to DHQ Hospital Kohlu, where medical officials confirmed drowning as the cause of death. Following necessary formalities, the bodies were handed over to the grieving families.

Local residents have urged the government to take immediate measures to fill rainwater pits and depressions formed during heavy rainfall, in order to prevent future accidents of such magnitude.

This devastating incident has once again highlighted the urgent need for rainwater management and child safety measures in flood-affected regions of Balochistan.
