The Balochistan High Court has upheld the election victory of Senator Aimal Wali Khan, declaring his Senate seat legal, valid, and in full compliance with constitutional and electoral laws.

A two-member bench, led by Justice Kamran Malakhail, heard the case filed by Muhammad Ali Kanrani, who had challenged Aimal Wali Khan’s Senate election on procedural and legal grounds.

In its short order, the court stated that all constitutional, electoral, and legal requirements were duly fulfilled during the election process. The petition was dismissed, and the court announced that a detailed verdict will be released later.

ANP Balochistan President, Asghar Khan Achakzai and Mabat Kaka, the Secretary General welcomed the judgment and termed it a legal victory for the party.

Senator Aimal Wali Khan was represented by Advocate Sangeen Khan, Advocate Olas Yar Khan, and members of the Malgaray Wukalan (Progressive Lawyers Forum).

The ruling marks a significant legal and political victory for Aimal Wali Khan and the Awami National Party (ANP), reinforcing his legitimacy in Pakistan’s Senate and strengthening the party’s position in Balochistan’s political landscape.

Observers note that this verdict will boost confidence in Pakistan’s judicial system, as the Balochistan High Court reaffirmed the transparency and legality of the Senate election process.
