Balochistan Government Denies PTI Permission for Quetta Rally on 7 Nov

Quetta (Web Desk): The Quetta administration, under orders from the Balochistan Government, has refused permission to the Pakistan Tehreek‑e‑Insaf (PTI) to hold a public rally scheduled for November 7. According to official sources, the decision was taken due to “security threat” concerns.

A ban under Section 144 has been imposed across the city, prohibiting gatherings of more than five persons.

The government has also warned that Afghan nationals participating in the rally will face prompt action: they may be deported within 24 hours if found attending. Officials say no political party will be granted permission for a mass gathering given the “serious security situation”.

In light of the threat assessment, the administration says it has heightened alert levels and strengthened measures to prevent any undesirable incident.
