NaseerAbad: Deputy Commissioner Naseerabad, Captain (Retired) Zulfiqar Ali Karar, stated that the government is taking serious and comprehensive measures to protect children from dangerous diseases like measles and rubella. He emphasized that the success of the vaccination campaign, running from November 17 to November 29, is a shared responsibility. Parents, communities, and all relevant institutions must actively cooperate to effectively safeguard children’s health.

These remarks were made during the inauguration of the Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign organized by the Health Department and Comnet at the District Health Office, Naseerabad. District Health Officer Dr. Abdul Manan Lakhti, Comnet’s Saddam Hussain, MS Dr. Habib Pandrani, ADHM Tanveer Ahmed Bileydi, staff members including Dr. Ghulam Yaseen Dajli, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Abro, Dr. Zahir Hussain Umarani, Deputy Commissioner PS Manzoor Shirazi, Councillor Muhammad Usman Adabi, Maulana Nawab Din Domki, Allama Shabbir Ahmed Abro, Mukhtiar Ahmed Jatk, Khan Jan Bangalzi, and other health officials were also present.

Deputy Commissioner Zulfiqar Ali Karar described the campaign as essential, noting that measles and rubella are serious childhood diseases that can lead to severe complications without timely preventive measures. He urged parents not to delay vaccination for their children. He assured that the district administration will fully support the Health Department to ensure the campaign’s success. Teams have been instructed to visit every household to provide vaccines, ensuring that no child misses this critical program.

He also appealed to the public to raise awareness, cooperate with vaccination teams, and actively contribute to a healthier and safer future for children.
