— Deputy Commissioner Jaffarabad, Khalid Khan, conducted a detailed visit to the District Library to review its facilities, administrative situation, and resource gaps. The library administration briefed the DC on issues including the shortage of books, infrastructure improvements, and the need for enhanced amenities.

Students using the library also met with the Deputy Commissioner, requesting extended library hours, additional books, a comfortable environment, and upgraded modern facilities.

Deputy Commissioner Khalid Khan stated that libraries are a valuable source of knowledge and literature, and the growing reading habit among youth is commendable. He assured that the district administration will take immediate measures to modernize and improve the library’s facilities. He confirmed that a report would be sent to relevant authorities to address the shortage of books and other key issues, aiming to make the library an exemplary study hub for the youth.
