Quetta – A key review meeting of the District Health Committee was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Mehrullah Badini. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Muhammad Anwar Kakar, DHO Quetta, DSM, MS Mufti Mehmood Hospital, and other relevant officials attended the session.

During the meeting, the DHO presented a detailed report on the attendance of paramedics and other health staff. The DSM briefed the committee on the supply of medicines to all BHUs, stock availability, and staff attendance. The Medical Superintendent of Mufti Mehmood Hospital submitted a report outlining the hospital’s facilities, electricity issues, road access, and other administrative challenges.

Declaring improvement in the health sector as a top priority, the Deputy Commissioner issued directives to all concerned officers. He stressed that the supply of medicines, presence of doctors and staff at BHUs, and overall service delivery must be improved without compromise.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed stricter monitoring to ensure citizens receive quality healthcare services. He emphasized the importance of coordinated communication between all departments and timely reporting to address issues efficiently.
