Jaffar Express Fired Upon Near Mach, No Casualties Reported

 

News Desk: The Quetta-to-Peshawar Jaffar Express was fired upon by unknown assailants near Mach and Aab-e-Gum in the Bolan region on Monday, railway officials confirmed. Fortunately, no loss of life or injuries was reported in the attack.

According to railway sources, security teams immediately responded, and the train was granted security clearance after inspection. The Jaffar Express later continued its journey safely, and officials confirmed it reached the next railway station without any further incident.

The attack has once again raised concerns regarding the security of passenger trains, particularly along the vulnerable Bolan railway section, where such incidents have occurred in the past.
