News Desk: A deadly attack targeted the convoy of tribal leader Wadera Noor Ali Chakrani near Darbar Syed Inayat Shah in Sui, Dera Bugti, resulting in two fatalities and two injuries. Wadera Chakrani, however, remained unharmed.
According to police, unidentified armed men opened fire on Chakrani’s convoy in the jurisdiction of Sui Police Station. Two individuals, identified as Shehzada and Ehsani Khan, were killed in the attack, while two others sustained injuries and were immediately shifted to Sui Hospital for treatment.
Authorities have cordoned off the area and launched a full-scale investigation into the incident.
This attack comes just a day after Wadera Noor Ali Chakrani made headlines by laying down arms along with over 100 of his followers, formally joining the national mainstream in a historic ceremony held in Sui Town.
