News Desk: An estimated 415 people have died in traffic accidents across Balochistan so far in 2025, a figure that road safety officials say now surpasses fatalities from terrorism and other major incidents in the province.

Most deadly crashes occurred on single-lane highways, where speeding and reckless driving remain widespread. Experts warn that drivers often rush to arrive sooner, only to put their own lives, and those of others, at risk.

Authorities have renewed calls for safer driving habits, urging motorists to slow down and remain vigilant behind the wheel. They stressed that responsible driving can prevent tragedies that leave families devastated.

“Drive within the speed limit and stay cautious, safety is better than sorrow,” the advisory said.
