Balochistan needs motorway not a ministry
Karachi–Quetta–Chaman Highway N-25 Construction Begins, Major Progress on Pakistan Expressway

Syed Muhammad Qaseem: Work is rapidly progressing on converting the N-25 National Highway into a modern dual-carriage expressway, turning a long-standing public demand into reality. The project is expected to make travel between Karachi and Chaman smoother, safer and considerably faster.

The upgrade marks a major step forward for Balochistan, where the N-25 serves as a vital economic corridor. Authorities view the expansion as a key development initiative that will improve connectivity, boost trade and enhance road safety across the province.

Construction is moving ahead, particularly on the Khuzdar–Wadh section, where engineers, machinery and workers are active around the clock. Officials say the expressway will significantly cut travel time while helping reduce the number of accidents.

Residents believe the project will create opportunities in business, tourism and employment. Faster access to hospitals, markets and educational institutions is also expected to benefit communities along the route.

With work being carried out on priority, the N-25 Expressway is set to become a transformative project, strengthening transport links and supporting long-term economic growth in Balochistan.
