Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has taken notice of reports that hospitals in Karachi have stopped treatment under health cards.

He has directed the health department and health card program officials to submit a report immediately and instructed the provincial health minister to resolve the issue promptly.

“Health card treatment for any patient should not be stopped,” the Chief Minister ordered. He also directed that all hospital dues under the health card be paid immediately.

“The treatment of poor patients through the health card should continue,” Chief Minister Bugti emphasized.
