News Desk: The 21st session of the Hardening of the State Conference was held in Quetta under the leadership of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, with a strong focus on strengthening coordination between federal and provincial institutions to ensure peace, stability, and long-term development in the province.

Balochistan Corps Commander Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan attended the meeting alongside senior representatives from civil administration and security institutions. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Bugti said the conference has been taking place regularly for the past one and a half years and has proven to be an effective forum for reviewing security and governance measures. He noted that the meeting is convened nearly every three weeks to assess progress on decisions made in earlier sessions.

The meeting was attended by officials from federal and provincial departments, as well as representatives of the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, and Pakistan Coast Guards. Discussions placed particular emphasis on intensifying anti-smuggling and anti-narcotics operations, with participants agreeing on the need for stronger and faster action against these threats.

The strategy was described as vital for extending development, improving governance, and reinforcing peace at the grassroots level.

In addition, the conference reviewed the overall security environment, the status of ongoing development projects, and public welfare initiatives. The participants reaffirmed their collective resolve to continue working through coordinated and practical strategies to build a secure, peaceful, and prosperous future for Balochistan.
