News Desk: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has lauded the timely and effective operation conducted by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Pishin district, stating that law enforcement agencies are carrying out their responsibilities with professionalism and firm resolve to ensure peace and stability across the province.

In a statement, the chief minister paid tribute to the bravery and dedication of CTD personnel who were injured during the exchange of fire, and extended his best wishes for their early recovery.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that CTD Balochistan and police personnel remain on the front lines of the fight against terrorism and are taking every possible step to safeguard the lives and property of citizens.

He noted that the recovery of a rocket launcher, submachine guns, and explosive material during the operation clearly indicated that the terrorists were involved in efforts to undermine peace and had links with banned outfits.

He expressed satisfaction that the operation was carried out while maintaining the writ of the state and ensuring the protection of the civilian population.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that there is no room in Balochistan for terrorists, their facilitators, or their networks, adding that counter-terrorism operations will continue with full force until sustainable peace is achieved. He said all attempts to destabilize the province will be thwarted with the support of the public.

He further stressed that the protection of the lives and property of the people of Balochistan remains the government’s foremost and non-negotiable responsibility.
