News Desk: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Sunday said that investigations into recent terrorist incidents have reached a decisive stage, assuring that all terrorists involved and their facilitators will be brought to justice without exception.

The Chief Minister made these remarks while visiting the homes of police officers and personnel who were martyred in the deadly terrorist attacks in Quetta on January 31. During the visit, he met the bereaved families, expressed heartfelt condolences, offered Fateha, and assured them of the government’s full support.

Speaking to the families, Mir Sarfraz Bugti said the children of martyrs are not just the responsibility of one household but the collective responsibility of the entire nation. He reaffirmed that the Government of Balochistan would never abandon the families of those who laid down their lives in the line of duty.

Under the existing compensation policy, he announced immediate financial assistance for the families along with two government jobs—one in the Police Department and another in any other government department. He directed the Additional Chief Secretary Home to issue all appointment orders within one week. The Chief Minister also announced that the government would bear all educational expenses of the martyrs’ children.

Paying tribute to the bravery of Shaheed ASI Mahmood ur Rehman, the Chief Minister ordered that Sariab Police Station be named after him. He added that Rs55 million is being provided to the families of police martyrs for house construction and other essential needs, with further support to be arranged if required.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti said hostile forces are attempting to destabilize Pakistan and Balochistan through terrorism, but such conspiracies will fail. “Every drop of innocent blood shed on this soil will be accounted for,” he said, adding that investigations are being conducted in a transparent and professional manner, with teams working round the clock.

He reaffirmed the government’s resolve to eliminate terrorism and ensure that enemies of peace and the state are taken to their logical end.
