News Desk: Tensions flared once again along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border as Pakistani security forces responded forcefully to what officials described as “provocative actions” by the Afghan Taliban regime. According to security sources, at least 22 Taliban military men were confirmed killed during the exchange of fire.
Reports indicate that the Afghan Taliban attempted to launch attacks on Pakistani border posts using quadcopters. However, the effort failed as Pakistani forces swiftly intercepted and shot down all drones before they could inflict damage. Security officials emphasized that the timely response prevented any losses on the Pakistani side.
Heavy shelling with both small and large weapons continued throughout the day, targeting Taliban positions across the border. In addition, Pakistani forces deployed aerial drones to carry out precision strikes, systematically hitting Taliban posts to neutralize threats.
Security sources further alleged that the Afghan Taliban regime has been spreading false claims and circulating fabricated videos on media and social platforms in an attempt to mislead audiences. Officials stressed that Pakistan’s military remains vigilant and committed to defending its borders against any aggression.
