From Our Correspondent:

Dera Bugti, March 22: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, reaffirmed his commitment to transparency and public welfare, stating that “every penny of public resources is a trust” and vowing to personally monitor development projects from planning to completion.

On the second day of Eid, the chief minister continued public engagement by holding an open court at Pakistan House in Upper Dera Bugti. He met tribal elders and residents, listened to their concerns, and issued on-the-spot directives to address key issues.

People from Kohlu, Barkhan, Dera Bugti, and surrounding areas participated in the gathering. The chief minister spent over five hours interacting directly with citizens, providing immediate relief and strengthening public confidence in governance.

Bugti emphasized that resolving public issues remains the top priority of the provincial government. He acknowledged the challenges of delivering basic facilities across Balochistan’s scattered population but assured that a structured strategy is in place to improve infrastructure, including communication networks and essential services.

He further stated that the upcoming provincial budget will focus on practical, people-centric development projects. Approved schemes addressing real public needs will be prioritized and included in the budget.

Highlighting accountability, Bugti said he would personally oversee development initiatives to ensure they deliver tangible benefits to the people.

Tribal elders and local residents appreciated the government’s efforts, expressing gratitude for ongoing development projects and the timely resolution of public concerns.
