Nashad Baloch:

Sibi, Balochistan – Unknown accused used explosives to blow up a gas pipeline close to the Sibi Teaching Hospital on Friday, damaging the line and affecting gas supply to the area.

According to police sources, the blast targeted a 4-inch diameter gas pipeline near the hospital. The explosion damaged around two feet of the pipe and also hit the main valve that supplies gas to the surrounding neighbourhoods.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. However, the blast has badly disrupted gas supply to local residents.

Police and security personnel quickly reached the site and have begun investigating the attack. Teams are currently assessing the damage and working to repair the pipeline so that gas can be restored as soon as possible.

This is the latest incident of its kind in Balochistan, where attacks on gas infrastructure have been reported several times in the past.

More details are expected as the investigation continues.
