News Desk: Pakistan has marked a significant advancement in its space program with the successful launch of its indigenous Electro-Optical Satellite (EO-3), according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The satellite was launched by the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, highlighting growing technological capabilities and progress toward self-reliance in the space sector.

The EO-3 satellite will provide high-resolution Earth observation data to improve urban planning, disaster response, agriculture monitoring, food security, and environmental management in Pakistan. Experts say the satellite will strengthen the country’s ability to make data-driven decisions and enhance long-term development planning.

This achievement also lays the groundwork for a modern, integrated Earth Observation System, supporting key national priorities and sustainable economic growth.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the efforts of SUPARCO’s scientists and engineers, while also recognizing China’s continued cooperation in advancing Pakistan’s space technology capabilities.
