News Desk: The Balochistan government and opposition have agreed to continue negotiations over madrassa-related issues despite the second round of talks ending without a breakthrough in Quetta on Friday.

The meeting took place at the provincial office of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), where a government delegation led by Home Minister Mir Ziaullah held detailed discussions with opposition leaders on various proposals linked to madrassa affairs and political matters.

Although the deadlock remained unresolved, both sides described the dialogue as positive and emphasized the need for continued engagement to settle differences through mutual understanding.

The government delegation included Parliamentary Secretary Haji Mir Barkat Rind, while the opposition side was represented by JUI provincial chief Senator Maulana Abdul Wasi and Opposition Leader Mir Younis Aziz Zehri. Senator Kamran Murtaza, Asghar Tareen, Syed Zafar Agha, and other political leaders also attended the meeting.

Government representatives said all issues could be resolved through dialogue and consensus, stressing that Balochistan’s multi-ethnic and multi-religious environment demands political harmony and cooperation.

Officials further stated that the provincial government is willing to finalize opposition proposals through mutual consultation and an amicable approach.
