Quetta : Balochistan School Education Department has officially announced Summer Vacations 2026 for all public and private educational institutions located in the province’s hot climatic regions.

According to an official notification issued by Secretary Secondary Education Lal Jan Jaffar, all schools and educational institutions falling under the Summer Zone will remain closed from May 23, 2026, to July 31, 2026.

The department directed school administrations to complete all official and administrative work before the closure of institutions. Authorities also instructed schools to finalize the Digital Census Process prior to the summer break. Officials warned that heads of institutions failing to complete the census requirements may not be allowed to avail summer vacations.

The decision was taken in view of the rising temperatures and severe weather conditions to ensure the safety and convenience of students, teachers, and school staff across Balochistan.
