PANJGUR: Two people were found dead inside a bullet-riddled vehicle near the Al-Amarat Hotel on the Panjgur bypass in Balochistan, police confirmed on Wednesday. A four-year-old child was also recovered alive from the same vehicle during the rescue operation.

According to police officials, the unidentified victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for identification and medico-legal formalities, while the child was taken into protective care.

In a separate incident reported in Bolan district, unidentified armed men opened fire near the Dhadhar bypass area, killing one person identified as Ghulam Fareed, a resident of Dera Murad Jamali. The attackers fled the scene after the shooting.

Law enforcement agencies have launched investigations into both incidents and started search operations in nearby areas to trace those involved.

The recent incidents have once again raised concerns over the security situation in parts of Balochistan, where cases of armed violence and targeted attacks continue to be reported.
