Quetta : The Vice Chancellor of University of Gwadar and the Pro Vice Chancellor reportedly went missing near Mastung while traveling from Gwadar to Quetta, according to Assistant to the Chief Minister for Interior Babar Yousafzai.
Officials stated that both senior university officials lost contact near Mastung, and their mobile phones have remained switched off since the incident. Security agencies are currently conducting tracing operations and search efforts to locate them.
Babar Yousafzai said that security forces, law enforcement agencies, and the district administration are jointly working on recovery operations and investigating the matter from all possible angles.
The Government of Balochistan has termed the incident highly sensitive and confirmed that all relevant institutions have been activated to ensure the safe recovery of the missing officials.
