​QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan’s Home Department has officially announced a relaxation in the ongoing lockdown across the province in anticipation of the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha holidays.
​According to a notification issued by the Home Department on Saturday, the ease in restrictions is aimed at facilitating citizens and business communities ahead of the festive season.

​Key Highlights of the Notification:

​Duration: The relaxation in lockdown measures will remain in effect until June 1, 2026.

​Business Operations:

All shops, business centers, shopping malls, and markets across Balochistan are permitted to remain open.
​Scope: The order applies provincial-wide, including the capital city of Quetta.
​Previously, the federal government had implemented a nationwide lockdown as part of a broader energy conservation policy. However, keeping the public interest and Eid preparations in mind, the provincial authorities have opted to temporarily ease the restrictions.
