ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has officially announced that the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026 will be conducted on Sunday, August 16, 2026, according to a public notice issued on Monday.

The regulatory body stated that the MDCAT 2025 curriculum and syllabus will remain applicable for MDCAT 2026, providing clarity to thousands of aspiring medical and dental students preparing for admission tests across the country.

 

In its notification, PMDC advised students and stakeholders to regularly visit its official website for further updates regarding registration schedules, examination centres, and admission-related procedures.

The announcement is expected to provide an early roadmap for candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS programmes in public and private medical institutions nationwide.
