News Desk: The Balochistan School Education Department has announced a five-day Eid-ul-Adha holiday schedule for all public and private schools across the province, according to an official notification issued on Sunday.
Under the notification, all government and private educational institutions in Balochistan will remain closed from Monday, May 25, 2026, to Friday, May 29, 2026, in observance of Eid-ul-Adha. Regular academic activities will resume on Monday, June 1, 2026, after the conclusion of the holidays.
The department clarified that the newly announced Eid holidays will not affect schools located in designated summer zones, where summer vacations are already in effect under a previously issued schedule.
According to the School Education Department, summer vacations for schools in summer zone areas began on May 23, 2026, and will continue until July 31, 2026. These institutions will remain closed during this period in line with the existing vacation policy.
The notification has been circulated to all relevant authorities, including district education officers, administrative officials, and heads of public and private schools, with instructions to ensure full implementation of the holiday schedule.
The announcement provides students, teachers, and school staff across Balochistan with a break to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha with their families, while educational institutions prepare to resume classes after the holiday period.
