Web Desk: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader and member of the Balochistan Assembly Nawab Changez Marri has demanded the resignation of Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, holding the provincial government responsible for the worsening security situation in Balochistan.

Speaking on the deteriorating law and order situation, Marri said the provincial administration had failed to fulfill its primary responsibility of protecting the lives and property of citizens. He argued that repeated incidents of violence and insecurity had eroded public confidence in the government’s ability to maintain peace.

“The people of Balochistan deserve accountable leadership and effective governance,” Marri said, adding that the chief minister should step down and accept responsibility for the province’s security challenges.

The PML-N lawmaker also criticized what he described as ineffective policies and a lack of tangible progress in addressing the root causes of unrest. He called for urgent measures to restore peace, strengthen governance, and rebuild public trust.

Marri’s remarks come amid increasing political debate over security, governance, and the government’s performance in tackling law and order issues across Balochistan.
