News Desk: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has welcomed the court’s verdict in the murder case of police constable Shabbir Baloch, saying the decision has reaffirmed public confidence in justice and the rule of law.

In his statement on Tuesday, the chief minister said Shabbir Baloch was more than a police officer serving in uniform; he was a cherished son and the backbone of his family. He described the brutal killing of the constable as a deeply disturbing act that shocked society and left a lasting impact on the collective conscience.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti paid tribute to the martyr’s mother, who endured immense grief and waited patiently for justice for nearly two years. He said her perseverance and courage throughout the legal process symbolized unwavering faith in the justice system.

The chief minister noted that the court reached its verdict after carefully examining all available evidence and facts. He added that the punishment handed down to the perpetrators demonstrates that no one is above the law and that those responsible for heinous crimes will ultimately be held accountable.

“The Government of Balochistan remains firmly committed to ensuring justice for the families of martyrs and strengthening the rule of law across the province,” he said.

Although justice took time, it was ultimately delivered, the chief minister remarked, adding that the verdict has brought a measure of peace and relief to a mother who had long awaited accountability for the loss of her son.
