News Desk: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the residence of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and prominent tribal figure Mir Shafiqur Rehman Mengal in Khuzdar, directing security agencies to immediately arrest the attackers and their facilitators.
Calling the assault a cowardly attempt to spread fear, the chief minister said enemies of peace would never succeed in destabilizing Balochistan or weakening the state’s resolve against terrorism.
Bugti praised Mir Shafiqur Rehman Mengal for his courage and determination in confronting the attackers, saying his steadfast response reflected the nation’s unwavering commitment to standing up to terrorism.
He instructed the relevant law enforcement agencies to identify everyone involved in the attack and ensure they are brought to justice without delay.
Reaffirming the government’s resolve, the chief minister said the people of Balochistan, tribal elders, political leadership, and security institutions remain united in the fight against terrorism and will defeat every attempt to disrupt peace in the province.
