QUETTA: Pakistan Railways has temporarily suspended train operations between Quetta and Peshawar due to unavoidable circumstances, affecting passengers traveling on the Jaffar Express. Railway officials confirmed that the suspension has come into immediate effect.
According to railway sources, the Jaffar Express departing from Quetta to Peshawar has been cancelled for one day and will not leave Quetta on Tuesday as scheduled.
Meanwhile, the Peshawar-bound Jaffar Express traveling toward Quetta will be stopped at Kuchak Aab, where further movement will remain suspended until further instructions from railway authorities.
Officials stated that the temporary suspension of the Quetta-Peshawar train service was necessitated by unavoidable operational reasons. The disruption has caused inconvenience for passengers, while Pakistan Railways is expected to issue further updates regarding the restoration of the service.
