NOKKUNDI: Unknown armed men reportedly targeted three vehicles on the N40 National Highway in the Nokkundi area of Balochistan, according to transporters and members of the local business community.

Sources said the incident occurred along the N40 highway, where the armed men stopped and targeted vehicles travelling through the area.

According to the reports, the attackers set fire to a trailer, a 10-wheeler truck and a tanker before fleeing the scene.

The incident caused concern among transporters and traders who regularly use the N40, an important road link connecting parts of Balochistan with other regions.

No information was immediately available about casualties or arrests in connection with the incident.

Authorities have yet to issue an official statement regarding the attack or confirm the identities and motives of the attackers.
