Quetta: Two people were killed and two others injured in an explosion in the Hanna Urak area of Quetta on Sunday, according to local sources.
The injured were shifted to the Trauma Centre in Quetta, where emergency medical care was being provided following the incident. Their condition was not immediately known.
Soon after the explosion, police and personnel from law-enforcement agencies reached the site and launched an investigation to determine the nature and cause of the blast.
Officials were gathering evidence from the scene, while further details about the incident were awaited.
