Web Desk: The inquiry commission investigating the Mangi Dam pumping station terrorist attack in Ziarat district has extended the deadline for registration and submission of evidence until September 3, 2026.
The commission issued the decision on August 24 while investigating the attack that resulted in the deaths of police personnel at the Mangi Dam pumping station.
Under the revised schedule, individuals with information, evidence or material related to the Ziarat Mangi Dam attack can register and submit their statements until the close of office hours on September 3. The earlier deadline was August 28.
The commission has urged families of martyred police officers, injured persons, witnesses and members of the public with relevant information to come forward.
Law-enforcement personnel and officers who were deployed on duty or otherwise connected with the incident at the time of the attack have also been invited to provide information. Officials from the Ziarat district administration and other government departments who possess relevant records or knowledge of the incident can similarly approach the commission.
How to Submit Information to Ziarat Inquiry Commission
Individuals wishing to register their statements or submit evidence must approach the Registrar/Secretary of the Inquiry Commission at its office located in the High Court premises, Hall Road, Quetta.
Applicants have been asked to provide:
- Full name and personal particulars
- Present and permanent address
- Contact number
- Copy of CNIC
- Relevant information, documents or other evidence concerning the attack
The commission will present the information and evidence received during the extended period before the inquiry panel as part of its investigation into the Mangi Dam pumping station terrorist attack and the deaths of police personnel.
