The resolution condemned the language used by Mir Sadiq Umrani during his speech and said his remarks had hurt the sentiments of the people of Balochistan.
Speaking on the floor of the house, Ali Madad Jattak said that Mir Sadiq Umrani had stated that 235 people from Balochistan had been called to Islamabad and allegedly humiliated. Jattak also criticized Umrani over what he described as contradictory statements, saying that the party’s parliamentary leader should maintain consistency in his position.
The lawmakers called for the controversial remarks made during the August 31 Balochistan Assembly session to be expunged from the proceedings.
