News Desk: A police constable was injured when unidentified assailants opened fire on a Deputy Commissioner Harnai’s security squad vehicle near Pishin Cross on the Ziarat Road on Thursday.
The squad vehicle was reportedly travelling from Quetta to Harnai when it came under fire.
Police constable Nasrullah Shah, son of Ibrahim Shah, sustained a bullet wound to his foot and was shifted to a medical facility for treatment.
The attackers fled the scene following the incident. Law enforcement agencies launched an investigation and search operation to trace the assailants.
