News Desk: An anti-terrorism court in Quetta has remanded former police surgeon Dr Ayesha Faiz to the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) for three days in connection with a case registered against her.
Special Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Muhammad Ali Mubeen issued the order on Monday after CTD officials produced Dr Ayesha Faiz before the court and requested her physical remand for investigation.
The court approved the request and handed the former police surgeon over to CTD custody for three days.
According to officials, cases have also been registered against Dr Ayesha Faiz with the NCCI and CTD. Further investigation into the case is underway.
