News Desk: A delegation from US-based defence and critical infrastructure company POWERUS, led by Robert Bret Velicovich, met Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

The meeting focused on Pakistan-US defence cooperation, emerging defence technologies and potential collaboration in defence procurement, production and capacity building.

The two sides discussed matters of mutual interest and reviewed evolving trends in defence technology, with particular attention to advanced solutions that could strengthen national security and institutional resilience.

Field Marshal Asim Munir highlighted the importance of technological innovation and advanced defence solutions in enhancing Pakistan’s security capabilities and resilience.

Both sides expressed interest in expanding engagement and exploring further opportunities for cooperation in mutually beneficial areas.
