By Our Correspondent: Police recovered the bodies of three Afghan nationals and rescued an injured Afghan citizen from the Gorg River in Turbat, Balochistan, local sources said.
The deceased and the injured man were taken to Teaching Hospital Turbat after being recovered from the river. Police sources at Jousak Police Station said the bodies appeared to be around three days old.
The deceased were identified as Saleem, son of Akbar Khan; Sher Agha Khan, son of Dhatta Khan; and Najeebuddin, son of Wazir.
The injured Afghan national was identified as Aziz, son of Muhammad Jan. He was shifted to Teaching Hospital Turbat for medical treatment.
Police have started an investigation to determine how the three Afghan nationals died and how the fourth person sustained injuries.
The incident comes as authorities in Balochistan continue to monitor the movement and presence of Afghan nationals in the province. Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
