News Desk: Security forces have killed 10 terrorists, including a woman, during clearance operations in Gwadar city and surrounding areas after foiling terrorist attacks targeting Gwadar and the Gabd border crossing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

According to the military’s media wing, one civilian died in the attacks, while several vehicles were damaged. No security personnel suffered casualties during the operations.

The ISPR said security forces had completed clearance operations in Gwadar and restored law and order and the writ of the state in the affected areas.

The statement described the attacks as Indian-sponsored terrorism and alleged that the perpetrators aimed to disrupt peace, development and economic progress in Balochistan.

The ISPR also expressed concern over the involvement of a woman in the attacks, saying terrorist groups were exploiting Baloch women for propaganda and to inflame public sentiment.

It said counterterrorism operations under the government’s Azm-e-Istehkam initiative would continue with full force to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan.

The military’s media wing reiterated the security forces’ commitment to maintaining peace and security in Balochistan and preventing attempts to undermine the province’s development and prosperity.
