BAP Core Committee reviews situation after Jam’s resignation

QUETTA: Core Committee of the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) has reviewed the situation in the aftermath of the resignation of Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan as the President of the party. “The committee endorsed the resignation of the Jam Kamal”, a press release of the party was issued on Saturday evening.

The committee has decided to contact the members of the parliamentary group and find a sustainable solution to the issues. An important meeting of the executive committee would be convened within the next few days to prepare a future line of action, the statement mentioned.

Founder of the BAP, Senator Saeed Ahmed Hashmi, former CM Jan Muhammad Jamali, Nawabzada Tariq Magsi, Sardar Saleh Bhootani also participated in the core committee meeting.

The committee also expressed serious concern over the prevailing crisis within the ruling party and vowed to find a sustainable solution in this regard.
