BAP angry members submit resignations

QUETTA: Angry members of the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) on Wednesday submitted their resignations with finance minister Mir Zahoor Buledi. Eleven angry members of the ruling party had given one day’s ultimatum to the incumbent CM to tender resignation.
The angry members submitted resignations with Mr. Buledi instead of the Governor’s Secretariat. “After two days, we will also bring a no-confidence motion against Jam Kamal”, Asad Baloch, the Balochistan National Party (Awami) told reporters. Talks with government committee comprising provincial ministers failed, Mr. Baloch said.
Resignations submitted with Zahoor Buledi
“All eleven resignations submitted with Zahoor Buledi”, one of the angry members told Quetta Voice. He requested anonymity. When asked about submitting resignations to the Governor’s house, the member said, “very soon”. Three ministers, two advisers, and four parliamentary secretaries submitted their resignations with Mr. Buledi, one of the leaders of the angry group.
Jam Kamal Khan continues to resist pressure on the part of the angry members. The CM chaired the provincial cabinet, which reviewed a number of issues relating to Balochistan. Almost all coalition partners participated in the meeting.

“Jam Sab enjoys the support of the lawmakers“, Liaquat Shahwani, the Spokesman government of Balochistan said. Mr. Shahwani stated that efforts were to convince the angry members to end their protest and join the government. He said all coalition partners extended their full support to the CM Balochistan and attended the provincial cabinet meeting.
However, Asad Baloch demanded of the CM to step down in what he called a respectable way. He said talks with the government committee failed.
Differences erupted within the BAP when 16 members of the joint opposition submitted a no-confidence motion against the CM Jam Kamal Khan. Overnight, around a dozen lawmakers turned against the CM Balochistan.
