Differences surfaced within the ruling party on September 16
Joint opposition had submitted a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Balochistan on September 16 this year. However, serious differences erupted within the ruling political party in the aftermath submission of a no-confidence motion against the CM Jam Kamal. Eleven members including Sardar Saleh Bhootani, Zahoor Buledi, Speaker Balochistan Assembly Qudoos Bizenjo, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Bushra Rind, Laila Tareen of the BAP parted their ways with the incumbent CM.
“Jam Kamal lost majority”, BAP angry members
The angry members demanded of the CM to step down since what they claim he lost the majority in the house. Moreover, Jam Kamal rejected the angry members’ demand and visited their houses to end the protest. “The CM has no choice except resignation”, Asad Baloch of the BNP (A) told reporters. He claimed within a week the new chief executive would replace the incumbent CM.
Sardar Khetran thus suggested the CM step down what he called in an honorable way to avoid humiliation. “We respect Jam Kamal Alyani and he should step down in a respectable way”, Sardar Khetran stated. There was no immediate response from the Chief Minister and the Spokesman government of Balochistan regarding the latest move of the angry members.
