Bizenjo vows to end political interference in doctors postings transfers

PISHIN: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo has vowed to end political interference in posting and transfers of doctors. He expressed these views during the visit to district headquarters hospital Pishin on Sunday.

“ I would try to end political interference in transfer postings of doctors and other health professionals”, the CM said. He was dismayed over the plight of health services at DHQs Pishin.

Mr. Bizenjo stated that doctors should also ensure their presence at their duty places. “Doctors should serve the ailing humanity”, he said.

Pishin DHQs upgraded from 25 beds to 50 beds

The CM announced the upgradation of Pishin DHQ from 25 to 50 beds. He however expressed displeasure over the state of medical facilities in the hospital. The CM visited various sections of the hospital.

“If this is the condition of a DHQ what can be the state of BHUs”, the CM noted. Mr. Bizenjo directed the Medical Superintendent of DHQ Pishin to prepare a comprehensive report about the requirements of the hospital in terms of manpower and equipment.

Provincial Ministers Sardar Saleh Bhootani, Zamrak Khan Achakzai MPAs Asghar Tareen, Wahid Siddiqui, and Aziz Ullah Agha were also present.
